Grand seiko snowflake

Grand seiko snowflake

This is mainly because of the Snowflake dial, that is (also) created in-house in the Shiojiri dial workshop. Those hands are superb. There is something about the shape and finish of the hands that captivates people and gain nods of approvals from perfectionists. More recently did I find out from the Editor that even the underside of the hands are polished.

That’s how meticulous these watchmakers are. As with most finishing processes, there is absolutely no room for mistakes, or the entire component would have to be tossed out. Hence this process is entrusted only to the most experienced and skillful craftsman. Another noticeable pla. See full list on deployant.

Grand Seiko’s proprietary Spring Drive powers this piece. Integrated circuit compares glide wheel speed. The lock is a basic three-fold clasp with a push-button release.

The dial work is absolutely unprecedented. The case and bracelet are made with high-intensity titanium, providing a scratch and corrosion resistant finish, making it lighter than stainless steel and a pleasure to wear. Free 2-day Shipping On Millions of Items.

The artisan places the case within a special holder which is then positioned against a rotating wheel. The name comes from the dial's design, which is reminiscent of freshly fallen snow. The hardened and brightened titanium alloy is the result of advanced metallurgy.

Resembling freshly fallen snow, each dial is stamped with a textured pattern before being coated with multiple layers of lacquer. Target Makes Shopping Easy!
