The footprint of the camera is larger than the intrepid , it is quite a bit much wider and deeper, the folded camera is a bit thicker, while the weight is similar. It is, in essence, a great ‘learning’ camera : affordable, light and straightforward to use. I write this review as an experienced photographer, especially a 35mm one.

Thus, hearing of the release of the updated camera I ordered a black-bellowed camera plus the Sinar-Linhof adaptor board and waited…and waited.

I actually purchased this as the mk then upgraded with the new focus system. Included in the package are both focus beds. I prefer the newer focusing mechanism better, but if you need rear swings, then you can easily switch them.
