Few people take time to compose a structured letter in an age where quick thoughts can be instantly transmitted by e-mail and text messages. However, a letter can be the most appropriate way to describe a profound feeling like pride in a son ’s accomplishments. I cherish each and every moment I had with you, whether I remember them or not.
I will always hold on to those memories whenever I miss you. I always have and I always will. I wanted to write an open letter to my son because there are a few things want him to remember and to never forget.
My baby boy turns three tomorrow. I wrote a special letter to him which is going in his journal, and wanted to share it with you. Enjoy a letter to my son on his third birthday.

When you spoke your first wor when you walked your first steps, I was your biggest supporter and fan. With every developmental milestone you reache I reveled in joy and celebration. I think often of the legacy I leave for you.
I wonder how memory will color me in your eyes. If you will look back at the lessons I tried to impart and find value in them or if you will throw them all aside and see them as meaningless rubbish held by a man who had no real idea about the world. To my future son , I wish it were easy to tell you what being a man entails, all I can say is that for most of your life you will battle between who you think you want to be, and who you truly are.
Society will tell you that being a man means muscles, and a sports car, and a wall street job with a 401k. Graduation Message From Mother To Son. Before you were born, I carried you in my heart and still now you are in my heart.
I looked into your eyes and saw all my hopes and dreams come alive in you. When I heard the news of your graduation I felt it’s my achievement. Dear son , congratulation for your graduation. I’m proud of you my boy.
I am so much proud of you my friend! Raising you was such a wonderful experience for me. Ooh, you’ll know it when you’re where you’re supposed to be.
Listen, my son , to your father’s instructions and do not forsake your mother’s teaching. As your dad and I fade into the background of your life I want to tell you it has been a privilege to have you as our son.
You continually made those proud who love you. Take a deep breath, pat yourself on the back, take just a moment to glow and be. I asked if I might post this, and was told it would be appropriate.
While my cousin has not yet seen combat, he enlisted in the middle of a war, as so many young Americans continue to do. It speaks of a father’s pride in a son ’s accomplishment. It also speaks of encouragement, of advises, and of assurance that God will be there with him to guide him along the way.
To My Son , At last, you finally made it! A mix of sadness that one of the greatest parts of my life has come to an end – mothering you. But also a mix of joy. As a mom, my job is literally to work myself out of a job and watch as you move on to start your own family.
You are now a certified engineer. Despite my very flawed parenting abilities, you’ve turned into a pretty awesome young man. I believe in your heart, your desire, and your courage.
I am excited about the journey that lies before you. I am deeply proud of the boy you have been and equally proud of the man you are becoming – a good man now, and a great man in the future. I'm Proud of You Son.
